Anger
When you say something unkind, when you do something in retaliation, your anger increases. You make the other person suffer, and they try hard to say or do something back to make you suffer, and get relief from their suffering. That is how conflict escalates.
Just because anger or hate is present does not mean that the capacity to love and accept is not there; love is always with you.

Breaking Up & Moving On
I’m ready to move on. It’s overdue. Whether we see each other once a week, or a few times, which seems to be the most recent pattern, I just don’t like myself afterwards. I mean, yea, I’m into you a whole lot, more than I sometimes care to admit…but at this point in my life, I just feel that you are bad for my health and keeping me from achieving some of my goals....
